Mary Hauser, with Browning Investments, Inc., Indianapolis, was awarded the Professional of the Year award at the Industry Awards Reception on Nov. 3. The reception was hosted by the leading organizations in commercial real estate. Participating organizations include the Indiana CCIM Chapter, IndyCREW, BOMA Indianapolis, Indianapolis IREM Chapter, Hoosier Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, Indiana NAIOP Chapter, Indiana/Kentucky SIOR Chapter and the Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS®. The goal of the event was to provide networking among commercial real estate professionals of all specialties, honor the achievements of the organizations and their members and to recognize the Professional of the Year. Each organization had the opportunity to submit a nominee. Nominees included Richard Borges, Borges and Borges Real Estate Advisors, Inc., nominated by the Hoosier Appraisal Institute; Bradley Toothaker, CBRE Bradley, nominated by ICBR; Brooke Augustin, Alliance Commercial Group, nominated by IndyCREW; Mary Hauser, Browning Investments, Inc., nominated by IREM Indianapolis; and Joe Fisher, Real Estate Investment Services, nominated by the Indiana CCIM Chapter. A selection committee with representation from all the organizations evaluated each nominee based on high ethics, strong leadership in the industry and commitment to a high quality product. As detailed in Hauser’s nomination, she provides a remarkable level of service, overseeing the asset management of over 30 local and regional commercial assets. Hauser mentors staff with a humble approach to customer service while applying over 22 years of experience in financial and tenant relations. Hauser has worked in both private and civic commercial arenas managing privately held trust properties to properties owned by the city of Indianapolis. Hauser enthusiastically draws on local, MBE/WBE talents as vendors, supporting local businesses and suppliers.
