INDIANAPOLIS – Randy Scheidt, CCIM, MAI received the first Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® Distinguished Service Award for his service to the industry and to the Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® (ICBR).
Scheidt has been active with the Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® for many years. He has served as an instructor and has been selected by ICBR to develop and present education programs, serve as moderator and participate on panel discussions for the annual ICBR Conference. He has served as President of ICBR and also represented ICBR as a Regional Vice President to the Indiana Association of Realtors.
In addition to his service for ICBR, Scheidt has held several other positions on committees and councils for other real estate organizations. These include the National Association of REALTORS®, Indiana Association of REALTORS®, Columbus (Indiana) Board of REALTORS®, MIBOR REALTOR® Association and the CCIM Institute. Scheidt and his wife, Jill, have been philanthropically invested in the commercial real estate industry as well. They established a fund with the MIBOR REALTOR® Foundation and have invested in the MIBOR RPAC fund drive for many years.
The Commercial Real Estate Distinguished Service Award was created to recognize those that have gone above and beyond in service to the commercial real estate industry, who have contributed a considerable amount of time in service to commercial real estate organizations and who have dedicated their career to the service of others.
