The deadline to earn your 12 hours of continuing real estate education for the current license year is June 30. Per the Indiana Real Estate Commission, brokers are required to complete these hours annually to maintain their license.
Managing Brokers (formerly Principal Brokers) are required to have a minimum of four of the 12-hours of continuing education each year dedicated to the necessary business and management skills and legal knowledge needed by the managing broker.
If you attended the full Indiana Commercial Real Estate Conference in May, then you will have met this requirement. However, if you still need CE hours here are some ways you can earn them before the deadline.
- Attend the ICBR Certificate Program Crash Course in Bloomington June 27-28. This two-day event offers 12 hours of CE and fulfills your mandatory class requirement for the certificate. These six classes cover the basics of commercial real estate on topics spreading the industry. Register online.
- 12-hour online, on-demand CE course through RECP. This option is more residentially focused but allows you flexibility with on-demand viewing. More information.
