Indiana Association of REALTORS®

IAR represents more than 18,000 REALTORS® statewide who are involved in virtually all aspects related to the sale, purchase, exchange or lease of real estate property in Indiana. All ICBR members are also members of IAR. IAR provides a forum for professional development, research and the exchange of information among its members, and to the public and government for the purpose of preserving the free enterprise system and the right to own real property. IAR members also belong to one of the 42 local REALTOR® boards/associations in Indiana and to the National Association of REALTORS®, which is the world’s largest professional organization. Additionally, members can join one of the many NAR institutes, societies and councils to enhance their expertise and network with other professionals globally. Appraisal Institute

The Appraisal Institute is a global membership association of professional real estate appraisers, with nearly 24,000 members and 91 chapters throughout the world. Its mission is to advance professionalism and ethics, global standards, methodologies, and practices through the professional development of property economics worldwide.

Organized in 1932, the Appraisal Institute advocates equal opportunity and nondiscrimination in the appraisal profession and conducts its activities in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws. Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA)

BOMA International was founded in 1907 as the National Association of Building Owners and Managers. The association assumed its present name in 1968 as it broadened its reach to include Canada and other affiliates around the globe. Today, BOMA International represents 92 local associations throughout the United States and 13 affiliates in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Finland, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, the Philippines, Russia and South Africa. BOMA’s 16,500-plus members own or manage more than nine billion square feet of commercial properties in North America. BOMA International is a primary source of information on office building development, leasing, building operating costs, energy consumption patterns, local and national building codes, legislation, occupancy statistics and technological developments. CCIM Institute

The CCIM Institute confers the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation to commercial real estate professionals through an extensive curriculum of 200 classroom hours, in addition to industry experience. The CCIM education curriculum addresses financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis and investment analysis – the cornerstones of commercial investment real estate. There are 9,500 CCIMs in 1,000 markets worldwide. An additional 9,500 practitioners are pursuing the designation.
