INDIANAPOLIS – Registration is now open for the annual Indiana Commercial Real Estate Conference, hosted by the Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® (ICBR), May 5-6, at the Ritz Charles in Carmel, Indiana.

Nearly 400 industry professionals are expected to attend this year’s conference, which continues the extended day and a half schedule launched last year.  By attending both days of the conference, attendees can fulfill the 12 hours of continuing education required under Indiana real estate license law. In addition, 11 hours of continuing legal education will also be awarded.

The only commercial real estate conference in Indiana, education sessions are focused on topics relevant to the industry and are designed to help brokers meet the needs of their business and clients. With more than 25 vendors onsite it is a great opportunity to connect with suppliers as well as peers.

Education sessions begin Thursday, May 5, at 2 p.m., and continue through Friday, May 6, beginning at 8 a.m.

The conference is proud to welcome Dr. Lawrence Yun, chief economist for the National Association of REALTORS®, as its opening keynote Friday morning. Yun will cover a variety of topics relating to the national and state economy, industry trends and market forecasts.

Registration includes lunch on Friday, where special guest Indiana State Governor Mike Pence will speak on economic developments and the future of the Hoosier state.

Networking is an essential component of commercial real estate, and this year’s conference continues to provide attendees with opportunities to further their business. Professionals can begin their conference experience early on May 5, by attending the annual Sporting Clay Fun Shoot at the Indiana Gun Club. Following education on Thursday, attendees are invited to attend the conference’s Welcome Reception at the Ritz Charles, beginning at 5:30 p.m. A reception-only ticket is also available for those unable to attend the events earlier in the day.
