ICBR is an organization for you, ran by you and driven by your professional agenda. Establish yourself as a leader!

ICBR provides many opportunities for you to become involved in a variety of ways. There are many ways to stay connected, learn and network with other commercial real estate professionals. Here is a list of the 2012 volunteer-driven committees. Committee members serve a one year term.

Conference Committee

The ICBR Conference Committee will strive to meet sponsorship and attendance goals for the annual Indiana Commercial Real Estate Conference. In addition to securing sponsors, the Committee will review award criteria.
Time commitment – Monthly meetings November-May.

ICREX Committee

The ICREX Advisory Committee will ensure ICREX is operated in the best interest of ICBR and will carry out the strategic goal of making ICREX the first choice of commercial property information exchange.
Time commitment – Bi-monthly conference calls.

Legislative Committee

The Legislative Affairs Committee operates with a goal of becoming more involved and visible in expressing the voice of the commercial real estate practitioner to our local and state legislators.
Time commitment – Heavier involvement during legislative session.

Nominating Committee

The ICBR Nominating Committee is chaired by the immediate Past-President, and consists of members representing each district. The Nominating committee is responsible for developing the slate of candidates and coordinating the election of officers for ICBR.

Professional Development Committee

The ICBR Professional Development Committee develops the program and onsite support for the annual Indiana Commercial Real Estate Conference.
Time commitment – Monthly meetings for sub-committee members.

Professional Standards Committee

The ICBR Professional Standards Committee deals with  ethics complaints that are brought before the board to give both parties involved the opportunity to be educated about the NAR Code of Ethics and to be judged by their peers in the real estate industry.
